HOUSING
Highlights
The Canadian High Commission is built within a site of 17 acres in Chanakaypuri, New Delhi and houses three residential areas, the Chancery and various amenity blocks. The landscape design approach was to blend the outdoor spaces with the internal spaces visually and physically. The design of the housing consists of large common lawns as well as individual frontages and back gardens. The lawns are undulating, natural and informal in character. The use of natural elements such as lawns, local boulders, water and plant material create spaces for both formal and informal entertaining, within the overall style required by the client for simple, functional and well-designed areas.
