This project is in Surat over 35 acres of land for the offices of Surat Diamond Bourse trust. The landscape design here is to create an outdoor environment for enhancing collaborative natural energy to help productivity, health and the happiness quotient of people by making indoor offices a more desirable work place as well as improving the physical, visual and functional quality of open spaces. The master layout of building blocks provides for outdoor space zones in a courtyard setting. The landscape concept is to relate these ten courtyards to five natural elements – Vayu, Agni, Prithvi, Jal and Aakash and the ten cardinal directions.The centre or the Brahmasthan of each court represents its respective element making each court unique. Each of these has zones for informal meetings, alfresco eating, outdoor recreation etc. besides central anchor element co-relating to panchabhutas.
